How do I delete my data?

You can delete all your data by going to Settings > Account > Delete All Data in the app. This will permanently remove all your session history, achievements, and stats. Alternatively, you can email us at stackcurious@gmail.com to request complete data deletion.

Is my data private?

Yes! Your personal session data is stored securely and never shared with your identity attached. The global map shows anonymous activity indicators only - no one can see who you are or your exact location. We only share aggregated, anonymous statistics.

How do I report a bug?

If you encounter a bug or issue, please email us at stackcurious@gmail.com with:

• A description of the problem
• Steps to reproduce the issue
• Your device model and iOS version
• Screenshots if applicable

How does the global map work?

The global map shows real-time anonymous activity from PoopMates users around the world. When you start a session, a small indicator appears in your approximate region (city-level accuracy). No personal information is displayed - it's just a fun way to see the global community in action!

How do I earn achievements?

Achievements are unlocked by using the app consistently and hitting milestones. Examples include: first session logged, 7-day streak, 100 total sessions, and more. Check the Achievements tab in the app to see all available badges and your progress.

Why does the app need location permission?

Location permission is optional and only used to show your approximate region on the global map. We only use city-level accuracy - never your exact location. You can deny this permission and still use all other features of the app.

How do I disable notifications?

Go to Settings > Notifications in the app to customize or disable all notifications. You can also manage notifications through your device's Settings > PoopMates.
